When David, a young lawyer, arrives at work one morning, he discovers Aimee sitting silently on the ledge outside his office window high above the street. Soon, David and Aimee are joined by the rather excitable Theo, David’s law partner, and their secretary, Carol. In the first act, David and the other two try to find out why Aimee is on the ledge, and the relationship between David and Aimee develops. Act II opens with David out on the ledge in a tuxedo. Aimee enters, wearing a wedding dress. The dialogue is clever and the characters are engaging in this simple character study.
